The Barnyard Walk

We took Michael to a local farm yesterday that has a small petting zoo for children. Michael got to see lots of animals for the first time, including chickens, geese, goats and cows. I brought my camera, intending to take a ton of pictures and then realized that my batteries weren't charged. Here are a few pics taken with my cellphone.

Father's Day 2008

Ok, this post is a week late, but I wanted to share some pictures of our Father's Day this year. Michael and I made Jaime a Father's Day present, a framed picture of him spelling the word Dada. Jaime loved it. We then spent a beautiful afternoon at my Aunt Carmen's house having barbeque. Michael's 2nd cousin Gabrielle played in her pool and Michael had a good time watching. I also tried to new desert recipe called "Cupcake bites" that were a hit with Jaime.

Why do you need baby orajel...

when frozen burritos work just as well AND taste so much better! As you can see Michael takes after his Daddy with his love of burritos. He would not let it go until it had thawed.

Check out our new little man!

Lots of things occurred this weekend. Michael got his second haircut. It's is amazing how a small change makes him look so much older! Who is this little boy and where is my tiny baby? I guess I'm going to have to get used to this.

We also had the arrival of teeth numbers 4 & 5, both on top! Michael has been a bit more cranky lately and Jaime and I hope it is only teething and not the Terrible Ones.

Lastly, Michael stood one his own a few seconds a couple of times. It happened so quickly that we couldn't catch it on film. He's going to be running around here in no time.
